Heavenly Grooves Blog: Very Groovy

I would like to thank John of http://heavenly-grooves.blogspot.com/ for his wonderful work of digitizing and posting many of the old "underground" vinyl records from Jesus music of the 70's. This site is truly amazing, with great cover art, encouraging reviews, links to resources like Ken Scott's groundbreaking work, Archivist - Vintage Vinyl Jesus Music (1965 - 1980) (http://heavenly-grooves-archivist.blogspot.com/), and links to free samples of the music.

By the way, if you hear some music you like there, or anywhere, please do the Golden Rule thing and try to find a way to purchase it, for the sake of supporting and encouraging the artists. Also if you know anybody who knows anybody who might be able to contact artists, try to let them know about John's blog and some of the other resources like Ken Scott. I can't tell you what an encouragement these guys have been to me and other members of Covenant.

What we really need is some people who are called to do the searching for artists. Me? Hmmm . . . I hate callings . . . they tend to turn you into a Noah kind of person! Maybe we all need to read his story in the Word again, and rekindle our healthy fear of becoming fish puke.

Another request: I'm a novice blogger but would like to go far and wide among people of broad interests like those represented in this blog and John's. If you can link us up, clue us in, and spread the word (read: spread the Word!), please do!

Nice! I'm following his blog, covenant is cool! You should make more music, I love the older sound though!
